Biography

Nadim Hallal, MD, is a skilled, board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Metro Orthopedics & Sports Therapy in Potomac, Maryland.

From a young age, Dr. Hallal dreamt of being a surgeon like his father. He completed his undergraduate degree in General Biology and Political Science at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He then went on to the Wayne State University School of Medicine. There he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. He then completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Maryland. Finally, he completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. Hallal then attained board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.

During the course of over 10 years in practice, Dr. Hallal has focused on joint replacement as well as the treatment of sports injuries. Dr. Hallal is committed to using only the most tried and tested operative and non-operative treatments to help give his patients the best results. He finds particularly great fulfillment in seeing his patients recover after undergoing joint replacement, regaining their function and achieving excellent pain relief.
